The general process is contact us for a free quote so you know the cost, then post documents to head office for distribution and service (using Express Post, and passing the envelope over the counter is recommended. When passing over the counter you receive a tracking receipt). Attach a cover letter (your instructions). For information about how to post, and pay, go to Process Server Requirements. The old system of mailing originals is both expensive, and slow. Many documents are applied for, and transmitted to us, by email; you apply through the court portal, pay their fee, have it processed (and it becomes a sealed copy, having the court seal, or court stamp, affixed). You then forward that PDF to [email protected] for service.
Some documents can be forwarded by email, such as Family Law, Divorce applications, and some NCAT forms. Generally this is where the initial application was made through the court portal, and PDF forms sent back. These PDFs can be forwarded to us at the above email. Where the form is something like an urgent family law custody matter and sending by mail is impractical emailing those documents is also accepted. The time frames for service by a process server, Sydney document service, as always as fast as practicable. If your matter is urgent please mark it as such.
Documents served include Family Law matters (custody, breaches, divorce papers), Civil claims and statement of claim, summonses, subpoena's, affidavits, demands for production of documents or information, the delivery of conduct money along with a subpoena, NCAT documents and many other court processes. All court documents served, including international, by our licensed Sydney process servers.
